Sara Wrozelowski

Sara Wrozelowski lebte im westpolnischen Zgierz. Die nahe Lodz gelegene Stadt war ein Zentrum der Textilindustrie. Etwa ein Fünftel der Bevölkerung war jüdisch. Im September 1939 marschierte die deutsche Wehrmacht ein. Wahrscheinlich noch im selben Jahr deportierten die Besatzer Sara Wrozelowski in das Ghetto von Lodz. Dort fiel sie den unmenschlichen Lebensbedingungen zum Opfer. Ihr Alter ist nicht bekannt.


Sara Wrozelowski lived in the western Polish town of Zgierz. Located near Lodz, it was a centre of the textile industry. About a fifth of the population was Jewish. In September 1939, the Wehrmacht entered the town. It was probably in the same year that the occupiers deported Sara Wrozelowski to the ghetto in Lodz. She died there, as a result of the inhumane conditions. Her age is unknown.
