Robert Ausch

Robert Ausch was one of 163 Jews living in Gyönk, a Hungarian village south of Lake Balaton. German troops occupied the country in the spring of 1944. In early June, SS and police forces deported the Jews of Győnk to a collection camp near the edge of town and from there to the Auschwitz extermination camp, where the SS asphyxiated almost all of them with Zyklon B, right after their arrival. Among the victims was Robert Ausch.
