Ida Wolf wurde 1892 in Żółkiew geboren, einer Kleinstadt im Westen der heutigen Ukraine. Mit ihrem Mann Yaakov hatte sie 6 Kinder. Bald nach der deutschen Besetzung am 28. Juni 1941 mussten alle Juden von Żółkiew eine weiße Binde mit einem Davidstern tragen und in ein Ghetto umziehen. Hunger und Krankheit bestimmten das Leben dort. Die Spur von Ida Wolf verliert sich im Ghetto.

Ida Wolf was born in 1892 in Żółkiew, a small town in the western area of modern Ukraine. She and her husband Yaakov had 6 children. Soon after the German occupation began on 28 June 1941, all the Jews from Żółkiew had to wear a white armband emblazoned with a Star of David, and move into a ghetto. Life there was marked by hunger and disease. Ida Wolf was last seen in the ghetto.
