Haim Yossef Fisher

Haim Yossef Fisher lebte in der polnischen Stadt Złoczew. Im September 1939 besetzte die deutsche Wehrmacht die Stadt. Bereits in den folgenden Tagen erschossen die Besatzer zahlreiche Juden. Ein Großteil der jüdischen Bevölkerung musste 1939 in das Generalgouvernement umsiedeln. Andere wurden 1942 in das Vernichtungslager Kulmhof deportiert und dort in Gaswagen mit Motorabgasen vergiftet. Von Haim Yossef Fisher fehlt seitdem jede Spur.

Haim Yossef Fisher lived in the Polish town of Złoczew. In September 1939, the Wehrmacht occupied the town. Within days of their arrival, the occupiers shot dead many of the town's Jews. The majority of the Jewish population was forcibly resettled in 1939 in the General Government for the occupied Polish areas. Others were deported in 1942 to the Kulmhof extermination camp, where they were poisoned with engine exhaust fumes in gas vans. There was no trace of Haim Yossef Fisher since then.
