Pesach Apel lebte in Łosice östlich von Warschau. Im Herbst 1939 besetzte die Wehrmacht den Ort. Am Morgen des 22. August 1942 trieb die SS fast alle in der Stadt lebenden Juden zusammen und zwang sie auf einen Fußmarsch nach Siedlce. Viele wurden auf dem Weg dorthin erschossen. Von Siedlce deportierte die SS die erschöpften Menschen in Viehwaggons nach Treblinka. Nur wenige überlebten den Transport. Unter den Opfern war auch Pesach Apel.

Pesach Apel lived in Łosice, east of Warsaw. In the autumn of 1939 the Wehrmacht occupied the town. On the morning of 22 August 1942 the SS drove together nearly all the Jews still living there and forced them to walk to Siedlce. Many were shot on the way there. The SS deported the exhausted victims in cattle cars from Siedlce to Treblinka. Very few survived the transport. Pesach Apel was among the victims.
