Milica Marcusohn wurde 1926 in der nordrumänischen Stadt Jassy geboren. Dort wuchs sie mit zwei jüngeren Geschwistern auf. Am 29. Juni 1941 fand in Jassy das bis dahin größte Pogrom Rumäniens statt. Mehrere Tausend Juden wurden auf das Gelände des Polizeiquartiers getrieben, wo rumänische und deutsche Soldaten auf sie schossen. Eines des Opfer war die Schülerin Milica Marcusohn.

Milica Marcusohn was born in 1926 in the northern Romanian city of Iaşi. She grew up there with two younger siblings. On 29 June 1941 Iaşi was the site of the largest pogrom Romania had seen up to then. Several thousand Jews were rounded up on the site of the police station, where Romanian and German soldiers shot at them. One of those killed was the schoolgirl Milica Marcusohn.
