Tzipora Gershon lebte in Międzyrzec Podlaski. Sie war verheiratet und hatte zwei Kinder, Tajbale und Moshe. Die Familie lebte bis 1939 vom Textilhandel. Als dann deutsche Truppen die polnische Stadt überfielen, wurden sie ihrer Existenzgrundlage beraubt. Seit 1942 musste Familie Gershon in einem Ghetto leben. Am 26. Mai 1943 trieben Männer des Hamburger Polizeibataillons 101 sie auf dem städtischen Marktplatz zur Deportation zusammen. Auf dem Weg in das Konzentrationslager Majdanek starb Tzipora Gershon in der Enge des Waggons.

Tzipora Gershon lived in Międzyrzec Podlaski. She was married and had two children, Tajbale and Moshe. Through 1939, the family supported itself through the textile trade. But when German troops took over this Polish town, the family was robbed of its source of income. In 1942, the Gershon family was forced to move into a ghetto. On 26 May 1943 men from Hamburg Police Battalion 101 rounded them up for deportation on the town’s marketplace. Tzipora Gershon died inside a narrow boxcar on the way to the Majdanek concentration camp.
